Award winning Silversmith JEN RICKETTS will be joining us this summer to exhibit her works of bespoke functional silverwear of city skylines and countryside scenes.
Sculpture, DAVID COOKE works with many different materials to create his striking, large scale pieces including clay, wire and bronze casting.
Bringing silver to life is a hard task, wriets Eleni Bide. Conventional designs rely on the metal's cold brilliance, but in expert hands it can be transformed into something suffused with feeling and energy. WAYNE MEETEN is one of those rare craftsmen whose work really does come alive, conveying sensations of serenity and movement. He achieves this by looking beyond a fundamental mastery of the metal, instead seeking to understand it and work in harmony with his materials.
BRETT PAYNE is a leading Contemporary British Silversmith; he is a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths’, a Freeman of the Cutlers’ Company in Hallamshire, a Fellow of The Institute of Professional Goldsmiths’ and past Chairman of The Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council. His approach to design and making synthesises an ancient technique; hot forging, with original and contemporary ideas of form. His belief in the importance of simplicity leads to a refreshingly direct and uncomplicated way of making that produces contemporary classics.
