Paper and Print
Lampshades don't have to be boring, they can be art! Papershades, founded by collage artist Rosalind Freeborn, is all about art and design on a paper lampshade. Papershades, based on Ros's own designs, come as a flatpack (in an A4 envelope) with five panels of printed paper and two 'wheels' to hold the paper in place. At 25cm high and 27cm in diameter at the base, they are suitable for table lamps and ceiling lights. You have the fun of assembling the paper lampshade at home. Papershades will brighten up a room whether the lights are on or off. There are dozens of designs to choose from. All of them are made with paper collage - a mix of tissue paper, wallpaper, magazines and printed paper. They are cheerful, bright and fun. Papershades cost just £30 each (including postage and packing) and will be sent to you first class, or you can buy one as a gift and Ros will pop in a card to let the lucky person know it's from you.
